Pulley (Navy) is inspired by traditional pulley systems and the way that rope fits into that context. The tension and movement implied is contrasted with its immobility when taken out of a functional setting and made into sculpture. Gravity dictates the composition of the piece, and serves as an exploration of materials and the way they are connected.
