The Monuments series portrays natural landscapes captured in side-profile akin to topographical maps. They serve as personal landmarks, both external and internal, paying homage to significant milestones and small victories. These forms are visual explorations of sentimentality, the result of continuous attempts to preserve the ephemeral and express what can’t quite be put into words.
