Co-curated by Leah Ring and Holland Denvir, Object Permanence is an exhibition series built around a single prompt, inviting artists and designers to interpret an object through their own practice and material language.

​For its final edition, more than 60 Object Permanence alumni from Los Angeles and New York return with their interpretations of an urn. The exhibition will be on view at Lawson-Fenning from September 19–25, opening with a party and celebration of life for Object Permanence on September 19 from 5–8 PM.

​Hosted by Lawson-Fenning, the opening also serves as the official kickoff of LA Design Week/end 2026, taking place September 30–October 4.

Opening at Francis Gallery in July, Summer Show brings together a group of LA-based painters. The works were selected by a multidisciplinary panel spanning art, design, writing, and curatorial practice, including Dr. Tina Barouti, Abraham Campillo, Mariah Nielson, Dário Solari, Christina Kim, and AJ Girard. So-Too presents Layers of Stillness, a group show exploring the quiet alchemy of pearlescence. I created a series of five iridescent wall reliefs for the exhibition.

I'm thrilled to share that two of my framed metallic glazed ceramic reliefs have been placed in the dining room of Beefbar at L'Apogée Courchevel designed by Kelly Wearstler. Part of the Small Hours collection, each piece measures 9"h, 7"w in dark chrome and variegated bronze finishes.

In ‘Between Us’ Carmen McNall and Cindy Hsu Zell approach the body as something both held and continually unfolding — shaped through gesture, embedded in material, and extended across time. Suspended between what feels ancient and what has yet to arrive, these forms suggest that the body can carry multiple moments at once.

My new collection, Origins, is inspired by my favorite sunsets and the quiet hours of dusk. These ceramic wall sculptures explore where light and emotion emerge, and the moments where endings and beginnings meet. Rooted in memory and the colors that linger long after the day has passed, Origins is my most personal work yet, a meditation on turning points and finding our place in the universe.

Fragments is a collection of abstract ceramic wall forms that feel like unearthed remnants, gems, or keepsakes. The surfaces range from bright cobalt to finishes that recall oxidized mirrors and reflective metal, capturing a sense of quiet erosion. Each piece speaks to impermanence and intimacy, holding the trace of something once whole.

Introducing a new collection of functional ceramic tiles developed in collaboration with LOFA Ceramics based in Guadalajara, Mexico inspired by my framed wall reliefs. Now available and customizable in a range of glaze finishes.

Mythos draws from ancient stories—baroque pearls shimmering beneath the sea, the weight of metallic armor, and tablets etched with lasting prophecies. Each slab offers a glimpse into another time, a portal where the tangible and imagined converge. Inspired by stone tablets and hieroglyphs, Mythos reinterprets ancient narratives into minimalist, fantastical forms.

A Quietly Powerful Showcase of Essential Form, Light, and Shadow at Alcova Miami 2024.

Hypnotic geometric forms and bespoke scented candles invite deep reflection and a sense of calm. Please join us for this quiet moment of tranquility amidst the vibrancy of Miami Art Week.

Quiet Monuments is a collection of ceramic tabletop sculptures that explores connection, family, and the ways relationships evolve over time. Each piece, made up of two parts joined together, draws from childhood memories of dried Chinese bottle gourds that adorned our home, tide pools we explored, and arched boulders we observed along coastal bluffs. These natural forms remain with me as symbols of protection, shelter, and fluidity—mirroring the shifting yet meaningful bonds we develop throughout our lives.

This collection of ceramic wall reliefs is dedicated to externalizing personal observations and emotions into tangible keepsakes. Each piece memorializes something in particular: an everyday object, a small gesture, a fleeting moment, a peculiar memory, or a specific time and place. These forms are visual explorations of sentimentality, a result of my continual attempts to preserve the ephemeral.

Theme: Cookie Jars

MOUTH

Cookie jars are a little mysterious to me, since I had never interacted with one growing up. In my imagination, the idea of reaching into the mouth of the container might suck me in - a portal to the unknown.
